Get Rid of the Mask

In our attempt to hide our insecurity or avoid betrayal and hurt, we create a mask, a look we are willing to let the world see in order to be accepted.

Scripture reminds me that even though I may be able to put on a mask and fool the people around me, I cannot fool God. God knows who we are. He sees behind our masks. He loves us and longs for us to be free from the fear of being rejected.

If you are constantly changing masks to fit in, then you know the awful burden of maintaining the false you. Be honest. Are you wearing a mask? Isn’t it time you asked Jesus to help you to take it off? Ask Jesus to help you remove the mask. Be real. Be YOU!

As always thank you for reading. I am truly grateful that you stopped by. Feel free to like, share, leave your thought or reblog. Until we meet again in this space…much love and blessings.♥♥♥
