A Thankful Heart In The Midst Of…

Sometimes life weighs me down and I find it hard to see things to be thankful for, but the truth is, whether we feel like giving God thanks and praising Him or not, God is still worthy to be praised.

Today I want to encourage us to thank God for His goodness, in the good times as well in the bad times. It is easy to doubt that our Heavenly Father is working on our behalf whenever we are faced with difficult situations; or whenever we feel alone, but we can be sure that He is with us wherever we go as his words declare in Hebrews 13:5, for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Lord today I thank you that you are always with me and will never leave me. Forgive me for the times when I do not thank you enough, for who you are, for all that you do, for all that you have given me. Help me to set my eyes and my heart on you afresh. Renew my spirit, fill me with your peace and joy. I love you and I need you, this day and every day. I give you praise and thanks for everything.

In Psalm 103:1, David commanded his soul to praise the Lord. He said, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!”

You can do that too. When the feeling of gratefulness is not there, just remember what God has done for you, and thank Him once more.

I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high. Psalm 7:17

As always thank you for reading. Feel free to like, share, leave your thought or reblog.

Until we meet again in this space…much love and blessings.♥♥♥♥

It is not always easy, especially when it seems like our backs are against the wall but scriptures admonish us to be thankful ALWAYS.

Thanks much my dear sister for reading and commenting. Blessings to you always
