A Year Full of Gratitude – Part 1 🙌💃✍

Gratitude must be our consistent attitude and our praise must be more than just a phase but all too often some of us who have been greatly blessed do not bless God gratefully or gracefully. We simply fail to maintain a thankful heart and a bold expression of gratitude to God for all he has done for us. For those of you who don’t already know, my word for 2019 is GRATITUDE. It has been a full year of expressing gratitude. My gratitude list for today is as follows.

Lord today I am grateful to be alive. I am grateful that I survived 11 months and almost 29 days of this year with your grace, strength, hope and wisdom.

I am grateful for my experiences, both pleasant and sad, but most importantly I am grateful for a closer relationship with your son Jesus Christ.

Lord I am grateful that you allowed me to see that life is fragile and fleeting and must not be taken for granted.

I am super grateful for the blessings I have, family, friends, health, and freedom to worship God.

I am grateful for the time spent with my family and friends, celebrating, crying, laughing, reminiscing and smiling.

I grateful for this platform that is easily accessibe, affording me the opportunity to express myself in writing. Writing makes me feel alive.

I am grateful for the memories made this year, some I will never forget. I am grateful for the lessons learned, mistakes made, challenges and struggles, some I either overcame and others I stumbled over.

I am grateful for everything. As I pause and think of God’s love and care for me throughout this year; my heart sings with gratitude and my eyes are filled with tears.

Take a little time today to reflect on the things you are most grateful for and give thanks to God. God promises that he will multiply those who are grateful.

Jeremiah 30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
