The Struggle Within

The+Struggle+Within
Every day is a struggle, some bury it inside,
While others tend to smile with so much pride.
But every day is a new battle against the foes,
The enemy fights back with psychological blows.

Though no one sees the smile you are faking,
Or see deep inside how you are constantly shaking,
The Lord will keep you safe, even in the darkest night,
Be your shield, defense and protector in the fight.

Don’t give up, stand firm and be strong,
The battle will be over, it won’t take long.
The day will come when our life on earth will be no more,
As we join all our departed loved ones who struggled before.

The Lord says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Paul writes in response to that, “…when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:8, 10.

Whatever it is, don’t quit, don’t give up. Face the struggle as the conqueror you are in Christ. The struggles you face will give you an opportunity for great victory, to bring great honor to Christ, to provide a strong witness to those around you. Get ready to grow through your struggles as God uses them for your good and his glory.

And remember, in the midst of your struggle it’s about more than you can see right now, so remain faithful and obey God. Trust and don’t give up. Remember, God will make a way.

The struggle within reminds me of an inside job. An opportunity to unload with firstly self forgiveness so as to create space for God’s spirit to work. Lovely post.

    Thx for posting!
