My Plea To God

My soul is weary, my heart breaks now,
My flesh is weak, my tears they flow.

I never thought I would feel this way,
I figured it was time for me to pray.

I gently knelt at my bedside wondering what to say,
As tears rolled down my cheeks I uttered, Lord will you make a way?

Here I am, I really don’t know how to cope,
So I come to you, my first and only source of hope.

Down on bended knees,
I ask your forgiveness, please.

Am kneeling at your mercy, please hear my humble plea,
Will you rid me of this pain, set my spirit free?

Down on my knees I cried, Lord heal me, I know you can,
I surrender all to you, my life is in your hands.

I plea for an end to my suffering day,
Lord, please hear my cry, I humbly pray.

A gentle breeze crossed my path and gave me a little chill,
God answered and said, My child am with you always, only be still.

I am your Father who sits high yet I see low,
Your pain and struggles, I see and also know.

Have you heard about Jesus, my only begotten Son?
He gave his life for you, the victory is already won.

Whatever happens in your life, on the Saviour you can depend,
There is nothing you cannot handle, with Jesus as your best friend.

Put your faith in Jesus,
He’s the one and only Saviour,
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life,
Offering hope for your pain, misery and strife.

Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by my name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One. Isaiah 43: 1-3

My life rest in the palm of God’s hand. 💯👍💪
