Heavenly Father I thank you for being there for me throughout the year 2018, I could not have got through the year without you. Thank you for all the amazing blessings, especially good health. Thank you for the hills and valleys, trials and struggles you have given my family and loved ones. I am grateful and say, thank you!
My Father, creator and sustainer, thank you for another day to allow me to see your glorious works, thank you for another chance to get it right, help me to make the right decisions and choices today. I truly thank you for the start of another New Year. I pray and ask that you guide me, my family members and loved ones to continue to grow and build a deeper relationship with you in 2019 and beyond! Father, I surrender all to you, and your praise will continually be in our mouth. Without you God I am nothing. I thank you for your love, forgiveness, grace, mercy and salvation you have given through your son Jesus Christ! Please stand with us as we begin another year!
Lord, help me to abide by your words and keep my focus on you. May I be obedient to your ways and continue to do your will. May I be guided by your Holy Spirit as I seek you in prayer; read your word and practice the principles of it in my daily life. Gracious Lord please help me also to be a light of hope to those who are in need, to be an example of your love and mercy and to tell others of your great grace and glory. May my efforts be to sincerely bring many to know you and to believe in your son Jesus Christ.
Help me to worship you in a new way, Lord. I ask that I may have an encounter with you that will forever change me. Through that encounter, I pray that I will feel forever closer to you, and that your light would spill out of me, over me and through me.
I ask that you provide for our needs, I ask for your grace and favor. I pray for your blessings to cover us, I pray that you help us to prosper and make every plan that you have birthed in our heart to succeed. Help me to be generous and kind to those who are in need. Help me to be a lover of truth, may the fruits of your spirit be evident in my life – your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
I pray for all who are persecuted for righteousness. I pray for all those that feel empty and lost; for those who are struggling, feeling that they cannot handle another day and that another day is not joy to them. Fill them with your love, with your presence Holy Father, may they seek you in prayer and trust you more. May they know they are not alone, to find help, let them know someone does love them and cares for them.
I praise and give you thanks my dear Heavenly Father, for your grace, mercy, love and divine providence all through 2018. May your unlimited grace and compassionate love overshadow us as we journey through the year 2019, and may you bless us with the wisdom needed to navigate its twists and turns.
