Just For Today

Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Today is the day for you to be glad. It is your day to forget all worries and think of your success. Today is not to be wasted in worrying about your food, money and tomorrow’s or yesterday’s issues. Rejoice today for today is your day.

Love One Another

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:7-8 & 11

As followers of Christ we are commanded to love one another. This is not an option. Love is not something we can decide if we will do it or not. We are commanded to love one another. Trust In God

Proverbs 3:5-6 are favorite verses that we hear quoted by many, but how many of us really realize how He will bless us when we do just as these verse state: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.”

Giving Thanks To God With A Grateful Heart

Psalm 107:1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

Heavenly Father I thank and praise you for all you have done for me in the past, what you continue to do for me in the present and all the great and mighty things you will do for me in the future.

A Spirit-filled believer will give thanks to God always. Giving thanks is like breathing, now could we survive if we only breathed just once in a while? So we must give thanks when things are going well, but we must also give thanks when we face trouble.

Lord I thank you for this new day and month. Thank you for every blessing and also for every trial for they shape me into who I am meant to be and who you want me to be. Thank you for new mercies and blessings each and every day. We thank you for a wonderful family and friends, food on the table and roofs over our heads.
