Being Thankful To God

Ephesians 5:20  Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hi Abba, It’s me again coming with a humbled heart to offer thanks to you.

I am most thankful, that my Heavenly Father loves me enough to send His Son so that I might have life, and have it more abundantly. I find hope and joy in the very sound of His name.

I thank God for being born in such an age as this, when I can publicly worship Him and even share devotional thoughts on the Internet without putting my life at risk. I am also thankful for the worldwide communication that allows me to pray with others daily.

I am thankful to God for His divine presence in my life through the indwelling of His Blessed Holy Spirit. I thank Him for his Word—for his Word brings hope, joy, wisdom and love to my heart.

It seems that my faith is being attacked everywhere I go, but I thank God that He has given me strength and wisdom to shine for Him in this darkness. I thank Him even for the afflictions, pain, hardships and discouragement I have met over the year, for through them I have realized His ever-loving presence no matter how hard things may be. I am thankful God that you did not give up on me. Hebrews 13:5 ‘He will not leave us or forsake us’

I give thanks for ALL that I have experienced in this life, for both the difficult and the pleasant have contributed to the person I am becoming in Christ. His grace and the presence of His Holy Spirit within me are riches beyond measure.

I thank Heavenly Father for being my best friend. The lonely times when I cried myself to sleep to have Him awaken me with a scripture or a song of comfort from the Holy Spirit.

I thank you Father for all the abilities You have given me, and the strength You give me when my abilities end. I thank you for protecting me in those times when I went astray and I also thank you for the consequences that my disobedience caused me in those times, I needed to learn a lesson. It is true, your mercies are new each morning,. Thank you for new mercies. Thank you Father for another year of your grace.
