I am a pencil. It’s what’s inside that transforms ideas into realities. I am full of energy, able to deal with any subject, flexible and creative. I have the ability to erase the past, live the present and write my future.
I enjoy the company of fine quality pens, even meeting new ones. However I proceed with caution, so that I won’t give room to allow them to handle me, as this can dull my senses and I could face the danger of being mishandled, become easily broken and even dull to a degree.
I experience painful sharpening from time to time, but the sharpening helps me to become a better pencil. I am at my best when am sharpened, not when am dull. Only then can I do my finest work.
I am equipped with erasers for a reason. I do not dwell on my mistakes but see them as an opportunity to start afresh. ©Fay Ann Swearing
