God Our Father

Our Father in Heaven Matthew 6:9

The title “Our Father” speaks of a very personal relationship. There is a God in heaven who cares about us. And he is called our Father.

Even though we all have needs and we all have them all the time; God is well aware of every single one of them. It isn’t enough for the Lord just to know about what His children need; He possesses the ability to meet those needs.

God Cares

Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

The Bible tells us that God will meet all our needs. He feeds the birds of the air and clothes the grass with the splendor of lilies. How much more, then, will He care for us, who are made in His image?

If our Heavenly Father cares for the birds, and feeds them every day, how much more will He care for you, His dear, precious child! Our only concern is to obey Heavenly Father and leave the consequences to Him.

To be real is to face the severity of the situation with childlike faith that says, I will do all I can do, and then I will see what God will do. Let your heart be at rest as you hear Him say to you, “Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:31)

Be convinced that you are of more value to your Heavenly Father than the birds, and let Him give you the good life without the toiling and laboring of the world.

Matthew 7:21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

The Evidence doesn’t lie.

It is sad to say though that many who claim the name of Jesus show absolutely no qualities of Christ-like living.

It is not just enough to say that we are a Christian, but if we are truly blood-bought, then there will be overwhelming evidences of it. Many times we wonder why the enemy is fighting us so hard, and why he is intent on destroying everything around us. He wants to create a disturbance in our lives that causes people to look past what God has done and only see the trouble.

Why is the enemy after you so hard? Because you are the evidence and he knows that your life is a testimony.
