Jesus The Only True Way

John 14:1-6
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know. Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way? Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jesus knew He was going to the cross, paying the price for sin by His death, rising on the third day and soon after, ascending back to Heaven. He was giving His disciples vital truth they needed to survive what would follow. Jesus told them that He was everything they would ever need.

Today, as we also face a world that is often resisting the gospel message Jesus speaks to us as He did nearly 2,000 years ago and says all we need to do to make it through this life is hold on to these truths.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed

1 John 3:6-7,10 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jesus is The Way you must follow; He is The Truth you must believe; and He is The Life you must live.

Jesus is the one true way. Follow him.
