I am but a shell,
fragile and hollow,
echoes of the past
resonate within,
whispers of what once was,
now only a faint trace.
I am but a shell,
carrying memories,
moments captured,
held tight in the curves,
smooth edges worn
by time’s relentless tide.
I am but a shell,
empty yet full,
a vessel of stories,
silent tales of the sea,
etched in patterns,
telling secrets only the waves can read.
I am but a shell,
adrift on life’s shore,
tossed by storms,
left in the sun’s glare,
waiting to be found,
to be held, understood.
I am but a shell,
beautiful in my simplicity,
strong in my fragility,
a testament to endurance,
a symbol of resilience,
in the face of constant change.
I am but a shell,
and in my quiet existence,
there is a profound stillness,
a peace that comes
from embracing
what I am,
and what I am not.
